2. Docker Container Installation

For containerized environments, CI/CD pipelines, or isolated testing, use the official MiniGit Docker container:

bash
# Pull and run the MiniGit container directly mounted to current working directory
docker run --rm -v $(pwd):/data minigit:latest status

Or run interactive commands within the container workspace:

bash
docker run --rm -it -v $(pwd):/data minigit:latest

3. Cryptographic Verification

All release assets are signed and verified via SHA-256 hashes published with each release:

bash
# Verify checksums on Linux / macOS
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt

# Verify checksum on Windows PowerShell
Get-FileHash .\minigit.exe -Algorithm SHA256
